Let’s be honest dear, there is no one who is 100% perfect. We all become perfect in our imperfections.

In an interview room, “tell us about your weaknesses” is one of the common grills that is used by employers. This is simply to understand your professional straggles.

However, most job seekers find it hard when answering, as they don’t know if to talk of personal or work weakness.

Whenever you are attending an interview, its always important to note , any question you are asked is from a professional point of view. So whether you are an IT person or an economist etc, just know they want to know that area in your professional life that needs improvement.

First tip, always rephrase this to: “which area in my career life needs improvement” then you can say, for example; in my recently given assignments, I was given some work that needed the use of excel program, and it gave me difficulties but I’m working on that.

Lets say it’s an administration position, you can say; I find it difficult to work with people who are not well organized: or for a basic job like a driver, you would get frank to state that, I always run out of patients if I’m to take an employee for an assignment, and they don’t keep time.

You coat it out in a way that you don’t bring out personal aspects.

Second tip and the final one, make sure you go through the job description before you step into the interview room. Most probably, you will find one or two tasks that may give you challenges, and behold, you may take this approach.
